What do you learn in pre algebra?
I need like a list of things you learn in pre algebra like this
(addition, subration. order of operations) Just like everything you learn.
Or a FREE site that you can go on and learn pre algebra online.
I am not worried about not understanding. I am just trying to see if I already know that stuff (I do) So I can see if I need to take a placement test.

Here is a site where you can learn pre-algebra on line, most of the programs are free as well.
also.. when I was in 7th grade I took an Algebra 1/2 class [pre-algebra] and we used Saxon. I liked the textbook myself. It explained things clearly, and succinctly. I don’t think the text is that expensive… but you can probably find a second-hand one online [ebay... online used bookstore...etc...]
Hope this helps!

Where can I find a free online tutor for pre-algebra?
I started college for the first time in Aug. ’06. I am 57 yrs old. I am struggling with the math. It is pre-algebra. I can’t find a tutor in my area except for one day a week for 90 minutes. I have a learning disabiltiy. I am not failing yet, but very close. I need someone with a whole lot of patience and understanding and as important as those are, someone with a sense of humor.

If you look on www.brainpop.com and join a free 12 day membership, you can see a video of how to do it for free.

You can go to hotmath.com and you can sign up for free, i think. anyways, you go the college section of math and you can probably find the textbook you are using in school. They will explain all the even numbered problems and how the answer was given.
